My son has been learning guitar under him. Mr Cloninger is extremely patient with good teaching techniques and makes it fun. We are happy to find him.
My daughter has been taking guitar’s lessons with William for a little less than 2 years now. We were a little bit skeptical at the start as, at 9 year old, she had the tendency to find a “new interest” every month. Well, 22 months later, and she is still very motivated to go to her one on one weekly lesson (+ the group class) and she has learned soooo much. Not only about how to play guitar but also in terms of musical education. She loves listening to music, but William gave her a different perspective and has really opened her mind. We are so happy that we found William and would recommend him to anybody interested in learning guitar.
William is def a rockstar teacher. He is personable and professional. He asks students what their interest are as far as music and they work on that genre and they explore other genres of music. He caters to each child instruments, abilities, and needs/wants. He always informs me on what they worked on during the lesson and what “homework” they have to work on at home. Overall, my kids and myself are happy with William’s lessons. My kids are confident in their music skills (piano & guitar) and thoroughly enjoy going to his lessons.
My granddaughter is taking piano lessons from William for almost a year now and she really enjoys his one on one lessons and even loves her group lessons with other students of his.She is very comfortable with him and always looks forward to her piano lesson each week! He’s such a likable guy, I actually believe she considers him a friend.We are quite pleased with his style of teaching.Thank so much William for exposing her to all types of great music, old and new!
Will is an excellent music teacher. He taught my 9-year-old girls, and I am happy to say they have grown in both their music ability and music appreciation. Will teaches many genres from Jazz to Blues to current songs and everything in between. He is funny, engaging and very knowledgeable. Will is very flexible and easy to work with. I am very lucky that we found him!
